my kitten is quite long compared to her chest/tummy size. I opted to get L due to this. her measurements are 12 long, 13 wide.
Unfortunately the size described is pretty accurate without being stretched. The material is quite stretchy and soft. I liked the neck hole can be adjusted. I don't know if it is a perk or a flaw, But the string will loosen with not a lot of force. this may be good in preventing choking. But it may also allow her to escape from the suit.
